Education for
adults
The new concept of education in sustainable
development towards a worth living environment and
ecological healthy building will comprehend these
problems and in cooperation with new findings in
methodic and didactic, increase the state of
education and awareness. Even if the structure of
this new concept of education is modular, the
segmentation into modules bear the characteristics
of biological units, that means that modules are
never organized according
to
the method (the
subject), but always according
to
the topic (the
task) within their correlative dependence and
specialization.
This model was chosen because it suits the
requirements for the new training scheme at the
LMB center of education best. On one hand motivators
should
be trained, which
have finished a D-3 education on environment, man
and building, on the other hand each module can be
used as a part-time education for further
education of professionals of al branches.
Education for pupils.
The practical environmental education program for
elementary school children shows the children in a
playful way, how they can apply environmental
protection in their daily life.
In this program the LMB center works together with
official elementary school (SD) as well as with
private educational institutions.
From this modular program it is also possible for
specialists to choose single modules only in order
to deepen a specific topic.
A building block system of modules or
partial qualifications enables the participants
after a certain combination of attended modules to
get admission for the examination as a motivator
in environment - man - building related context.

Each module is a compact whole problem
based course of a certain task within its
correlative dependence and specialization and
comprises as a rule 16 lessons (obligatory), ± 50
hours self-instruction (private reading, learning
and researching) and the realization of a small
project or a final paper (checking objectives).
The modules are defined by the specific objectives
that not only describes the achievable
professional competence, but also the methodic
competence, the self competence and the social
competence.
